Overnight & Multi Day hikes

Overnight trips are for us the best adventure. Hiking through the mountains carrying everything you need for the trip. Immersing yourself in nature and removing yourself from your daily life.

 

All of our routes are based around beautiful scenery, great trails, and peaceful places to wild camp away from civilisation.

Die Hel - Groot Winterhoek

A Grade - Requires some minor scrambling

Die Hel, Groot Winterhoek

Visit what is probably the largest natural rock pool in the Western Cape! Access is only via an 18km hike each way through a stunning nature reserve.

 

The distances are fairly long but on good trails. The overnight spots are some of the best for wild camping.

Wolfberg Cracks, Arch & Peak

Grade B - Requires some rock scrambling and narrow spaces

Wolfberg Arch, Cederberg

The journey to Wolfberg peak is probably one of the best day trips in the Cederberg. Explore the Wolfberg cracks, hike across the plateau, and summit Wolfberg peak.

Tafelberg - Cederberg

B Grade - Requires some rock scrambling

Tafelberg, Cederberg

Tafelberg is the second highest peak in the Cederberg at 1969m, and a perfect introduction to the area.

 

The distances are fairly short and steep but on good trails.The overnight spots are some of the best for wild camping. The scramble to the summit is easier than Sneeuberg.​

Groot Krakadouw

Grade B - Requires some rock scrambling

Groot Krakadouw, Cederberg

Super sized and otherworldly, Groot Krakadouw is an adventure! A fairly shot but steep hike leads to a huge peak to explore.

Probably my favourite short advenutre in the Cederberg.

Sneeuberg - Cederberg

Grade C - Requires rock scrambling and a head for heights

Sneeuberg, Cederberg

Sneeuberg is the highest peak in the Cederberg at 2027m, and has the views to match! The distances are fairly short and steep but on good trails. The scramble to the summit is more technical than Tafelberg with more exposure to heights.
